Finally got around to trying this place, and it was pretty good. The employees were nice, the lobby was clean, and the food was very well presented. I got the California and pastor tacos and they were both so good! The meat was on point! The churro fries were delicious! I was kind of disappointed with the elote. Not your usual mayo, cotija cheese, and chili powder. It was saucy with jalapenos and onion chips. Wasn’t for me. Other than that, everything else was delicious!
Rarely does a new food place feel familiar right away. But smoked taco felt like coming home to a bygone era. The bright colors and great food remind me of going out for food in the 90's and in an era dominated by most fast food places becoming sterile, serious and drab a place like smoked Taco is a breath of fresh air. I have yet to eat a taco there I didn't like, personally I find the hot chick to be my favorite. I typically don't care for honey but the spicy hot honey paired with fried chicken made me a realize that there was a place for that condiment in my life. The people that work there are from friendly and quick. I'm impressed how roomy the building feels and the seating is plentiful. Eating there makes me wish I lived by the ocean.
Food was SOOO good. I really enjoyed the flavors, it was all served nice and hot, and nothing was overly spicy. We tried The Gringo, the Bahn Fire and The Fleeing Californian, as well as chips/salsa and the elote.elite. The candied jalapenos were a nice touch as was the cheese crust on the taco shells.
I was introduced to this lovely dining establishment for a work lunch and it has the best customer service and I loved atmosphere. Fast, friendly service!! Not to mention the food it was one of the best tacos I've had in long time!! Def. A new favorite , my favorite toco so far that ive tried is the Gringo!!
Regular tacos are great, but burnt ends tacos? That’s next-level flavor. It’s like your taco went on a BBQ retreat and came back wiser and smokier.
The tacos were really great. I appreciate their menu is simple yet filled with options. The food was fresh. We will certainly be back.
The best unique gourmet tacos! Reasonably priced, large portions. I crave their elote corn side dish. Great customer service. Clean, casual atmosphere. Highly recommend.
I came here for dinner and it was delicious. I got the gringo and smoked pastor and WOW. The smoked pastor was full of meat and was very flavorful. The gringo was very heavy but also delicious. I also had chips and queso and the queso was pretty delicious and flavorful. I will say that this is far from authentic Mexican food. However, it has some of the best tacos I’ve had anywhere and was highly impressed. The workers were also decently friendly which is fantastic as well!
